Such a simple but well kept park. Jackson creek is accessible to explore. A super nice trail that also leads to Alcott park. I would say fun for all ages. Playground is nice up to a certain age. Swings are nice and have ♿️ accessibility. Safe family friendly neighborhood.

I am a big fan of Sherwood Oaks Park! I live nearby so it is a super convenient walking loop for me, but they also have great parking. I love that there is always activity in the park and I usually get to see wildlife on my walks too!

Absolutely love this park! Clean and well maintained. Big space for playing catch, football. Etc. Basket ball court. Trails, away from the road. Shady areas with benches. Water fountain. Tennis court.

Sherwood Oaks is cool. Tucked away in a NIMBY area, if you can drive to the parking lot or live in the neighborhood, it's great! Parking is limited, but there's a nice little playground, tennis AND handball courts, a basketball court, and plenty of wild area to wander through (not to mention the trail that connects multiple parks!)! Pretty much an A from me! It'd be an A+ if there was a nice, shaded area to sit while watching the kiddos (it's just a single picnic table and some benches without much shade).

Great little park, on down side if you go to celebrate anything there JUST BEWEAR No Bathrooms you walk 5min or so up a trail to a different park entirely just to find a bathroom. And all around the shelter house is water logged you get soaked and muddy the water was a problem trying to have a party and all your guest are soaked and muddy just by walking to the shelter.probably last time we do a get together there but just to have kids play is a good place long as the don't have to pee lol

Nice quiet place in the neighborhood with something for everyone to do. Tennis court, an open ground, a bike trail, picnic area and a play area with swings. No restrooms though.

This is a lovely little park and a great addition to Bloomington Parks. I think it's a hidden gem with a nice playground, a stream, and a beautiful walking path. Would recommend going around the pollinator reclamation area and eating mulberries when they're ripe!
